Helpful tips to prep you for success!
Fillets shouldn’t touch as they cook. If your air fryer is small, you may need to cook the fillets in two batches. Save half of the sauce for the second batch.
Fillets should be approximately the same thickness so the salmon will cook completely, and at the same time.
What internal temperature should my salmon be?
Internal temperature for your cooked salmon should be 125-130 degrees.
I don’t have an Air Fryer. What are the other ways to make the salmon/?
Yes, here are two other ways to make the salmon with orange glaze.
Pan sear/stove top:
In a small mixing bowl, add the juice from the oranges, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder and parsley and mix well.
Heat the oil in a pan on the stove over medium-high heat
Add the salmon fillets to the pan and pour the sauce over the fillets
Cook the fillets for 3-4 minutes and baste the tops of the fillets with the pan juices
Remove the salmon from the pan
To thicken the sauce, whisk the corn starch and water together creating a slurry and add the slurry to the remaining hot juices from the cooked salmon and whisk into the sauce.
Drizzle the sauce over the salmon and serve.
Oven
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
In a small mixing bowl, add the juice from the oranges, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder and parsley and mix well.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, add the salmon fillets and pour the sauce over the fillets.
Place the salmon in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, then switch the oven to BROIL and broil the salmon for 3-4 minutes.
Remove the salmon from the pan
Take the remaining hot juices from the cooked salmon. To thicken the sauce, whisk the corn starch and water together to create a slurry. Mix the slurry with the hot juices and drizzle the sauce over the salmon before serving.

Can I save this Air Fryer Orange Salmon for leftovers?
This salmon dish is best fresh, but can definitely be eaten as leftovers!
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat, place in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at 360 degrees, in the oven for 5-10 minutes at 350 degrees, or can be microwaved for 60 seconds.
To freeze, the fillets should be cooled completely, then fillets should be wrapped individually in Saran Wrap. Store in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.

Ingredients:
Salmon – fillets should be approximately the same thickness. Any type will do! If you have frozen fillets, make sure they are thawed.
Oil – olive oil, avocado oil or cooking spray; whatever you have on hand! We prefer olive oil.
Oranges – gives the salmon a citric, sweet that compliments the salmon.
Honey – adds a sticky sweetness to the salmon; we prefer raw honey as it contains antioxidants. We also like to buy local.
Soy sauce – you can use reduced sodium soy sauce if you prefer or watching your sodium intake.
Garlic powder – provides a savory flavor and blends well with the other flavors.
Parsley – this is to garnish so it’s optional.
Corn starch and water – to thicken sauce

In a small mixing bowl, add the juice from the oranges, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and parsley. Whisk until incorporated. Set aside.

In a shallow baking pan the size of the air fryer basket lightly coat with oil or spray with cooking spray. Gently dry the salmon with paper towels and add the salmon fillets to the pan. Pour the sauce over the fillets. If all the fillets will not fit in the baking pan, divide the sauce in half and cook in batches.

Place the baking pan with the salmon in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F for 7-9 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 120°-125°F.

Remove the salmon from the pan.

To thicken the sauce, in a small bowl whisk the cornstarch and water together creating a slurry. Add the slurry to the remaining hot juices from the cooked salmon and whisk into a sauce.

Drizzle sauce over salmon fillets and serve.
